Fortunately, there are many excellent organizations and groups throughout the world, large and small, which are committed to stopping the decline of these magnificent creatures and work towards the recovery of the species.
Many education programmes are currently operating through key turtle regions, with nesting beaches protected in many countries and conservation laws enforced in many locations to protect the turtles by ensuring viable nesting and feeding populations.
